Finding Faith Through Persian Community Church

Arezu came to know the Lord through Persian Community Church (PCC), our digital church network that connects thousands each month across the Persian-speaking world. Like many others, she not only found faith, but also a deep sense of belonging and Christian fellowship.

She has been attending PCC meetings faithfully, growing spiritually through teaching, worship, and the power of community that transcends borders and physical walls.

A Family Crisis and a Bold Prayer

Several months ago, tragedy struck her family. Arezu’s cousin’s daughter, Maryam, had undergone surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. After five months, a second tumor appeared – larger and more malignant than the first.

Burdened with concern and full of faith, Arezu joined one of PCC’s Friday live satellite meetings and made a heartfelt request to Brother Siroos, the preacher that evening:

“Please pray for Maryam,” she asked during the live gathering.

A Divine Instruction During a Live Broadcast

Led by the Holy Spirit, Brother Siroos responded in a surprising way:

Sister Arezu, I will not pray for Maryam, but I will pray for you and bless you. I ask God to grant you the gift of healing. Go to the hospital, lay your hands on Maryam, and proclaim healing over her.

This was not what she expected, but Arezu obeyed.

Standing in Faith at the Hospital Door

On the day of Maryam’s second surgery, Arezu went to the hospital. While there, she joined a PCC “Meet Tent” Zoom room – a space where powerful, intimate prayer happens throughout the week.

She recalled the moment:

“I was standing outside the operating room. Right there, I turned the camera around, placed my hand on Maryam, and with faith, I said: ‘You have no problem!’“

Shortly after, Maryam’s sister approached her in tears. “The doctors say this tumor is both larger and more malignant than the first one!” she said.

But overcome by faith and the power of unity with her digital church family, Arezu stood firm, holding up her phone:

Look, I am in a prayer meeting right now. For days, I have asked everyone to pray, and I have faith that Maryam is in no danger. I have entrusted Maryam to the One who raises the dead!

Healing, Hope, and a Miracle Unfolds

That day, something miraculous happened.

Jesus healed Maryam.

Today, Maryam is completely cancer-free and walking in full health. Her healing is a testimony to the power of prayer, the obedience of faith, and the support of a digital church family united in Christ.

PCC is more than a digital church – it’s a movement of faith, prayer, and miraculous encounters with Jesus across the Persian-speaking world. Lives are being transformed every day.
