Youth Conference Ignites Faith and Future Leaders

Next-Gen Iranian Christian Leaders Rise

Young Iranian believers in diaspora communities face unique challenges in growing and living out their faith. Transform Iran’s 222 Church Summer Youth Conference 2025 united Iranian Christian youth from across Europe for a life-changing experience focused on spiritual growth, leadership development, and personal transformation, equipping the next generation to impact Iran and the global Iranian diaspora.

Transforming Young Believers

This annual gathering provided young Iranian believers in the diaspora with a safe, inspiring environment to deepen their relationship with God, strengthen their faith, and uncover their unique calling. Across the week, participants engaged in teaching, mentorship, and hands-on ministry experiences led by pastors from multiple 222 churches. One attendee shared:

The messages at the conference were exactly the messages I needed at that moment. The Holy Spirit really touched me, and I decided to surrender myself to God once again – even publicly, despite feeling embarrassed.

Through prayer sessions, interactive workshops, and personal reflection, attendees learned to pray aloud for the first time, pray for others, and experience God’s healing in practical ways. They explored forgiveness, freedom from past hurts, and listening for God’s guidance in their studies and future plans.

Igniting Leadership

Pastors from multiple 222 churches, including Transform Iran COO Shahryar Tooraji, taught on leadership, financial stewardship, and discipleship. Youth were given hands-on opportunities to develop their gifts: preaching, leading worship, and moving in spiritual gifts for the first time.

I was given the opportunity to preach for the very first time. At first, I hesitated and felt unsure, but deep inside, I knew the Holy Spirit and my Father were gently but firmly pushing me forward.

These moments equipped youth to step confidently into leadership roles, not just in their diaspora communities, but also as future ministry leaders impacting Iran.

Stepping Out in Faith

Youth were encouraged to act boldly in their faith, building courage through real-life ministry experiences.

I take a lot with me from this conference! In one seminar, I was encouraged that God uses us. I prayed for someone and God healed them! That encourages me to be brave and pray more for people in the future.

From leading worship to ministering to peers, attendees discovered the joy of using their spiritual gifts to serve others, laying the foundation for lifelong discipleship.

Empowered to Serve

The conference also emphasized mentorship, digital evangelism, and practical ministry skills. Young believers were equipped to create digital content, engage in social media outreach, and even support fundraising efforts, all while maintaining their Iranian roots.

God was moving through the conference in every young heart. People came one way and left the conference changed and set free. Youth were filled with the Holy Spirit and grew in their relationship with Christ.

By nurturing faith, leadership, and personal growth, the conference empowered attendees to serve now and prepare for future ministry roles in Iran and the global Iranian diaspora.
